Reiki Healing Energy and Chakra Balancing
Reiki was rediscovered in the late 19th century by Dr. Mikao Usui in Japan. The word Reiki comes from two Kanji symbols. Rei, meaning universal life force and Ki, meaning energy. Reiki is a simple, yet very powerful, hands on light-touch technique that reduces stress, promotes relaxation and balances emotions.
Reiki is a tool to help with the major stresses of life such as IVF, Anxiety, Depression, Post Tramatic Stress, Getting Married, Getting Divorced! Anything really! Reiki is not a substitute for medical attention! Reiki increases your energy level and sense of well-being promoting personal growth and healing on emotional, physical and spiritual levels.
Reiki is an appropriate treatment for all ages from infancy to the elderly. Reiki is used in hospitals, nursing homes and hospice programs. During a Reiki session the client remains fully clothed. Treatment may be given while the recipient lies on a massage table, sits in a chair or stands. The practitioner lightly places their hands on or above key positions of the body facilitating the flow of energy.
Can Reiki “cure” me?
Reiki is a complementary methodology that works well alone as well as in concert with other treatments. Healing is often the result of gentle shifts in awareness, release of emotional patterns, achievement of new understanding, and daily practice. Reiki is not a replacement for traditional medical treatment.
What is Intuitive during these sessions?
My hands and the Reiki energy will go where they are intuitively guided. Often when I am over the chakras and different parts of the body, intuitive messages will make themselves known. I take notes during each session and I will let you know my findings at the end.
Is there any way to have too much Reiki?
Absolutely not! There is no way to do this wrong. It’s just energy. The body takes in what it needs. The practitioner is merely a vessel that allows the energy to flow towards you to do what it needs to do. Think of it as directing a laser beam to the places that need the most attention. Everything is always for your highest and best good out of pure light and love.
Is a remote session just as effective as an in-person session? YES! The remote sessions I do with clients are still amazing!
They can feel the warmth, tingles, have the visualizations, emotional releases, etc. from the comfort of their own home, even if they are thousands of miles away from me.
Energy has no barrier of time or space – it flows where it needs to go simply by thought and intention.
A full Reiki treatment lasts approximately one hour.
